November 14th! Young Wild Things Tour!

So on November 14th I went to The Young Wild Things Tour. The acts were: Cute Is What We Aim For, Plain White T's, Gym Class Heroes, and Fall Out Boy! The show was AMAZING and they sold out Madison Square Garden!!!!! I got early entry because I'm in Fall Out Boy's fan club: Over Cast Kids! So they let us into the building and we all charged for baracade. I got right in front of Pete! Just like I wanted. [the best part of madison square garden is the the venders walk around behind the baracade to sell you water... so you dont lose you spot].

Nobody really knew who Cute Is What We Aim For was so when they saw people going crazy they got really really happy. Shaant [singer] kept going on about how they didn't deserve to be playing Madison Square but they really did. They put on an amazing set. They had so much energy it was great. Shaant was constintly smiling and their bassist, Fred, had great stage pressence. He was jumping around and singing it was great. Also Dave Mellilo was there playing guitar and being a semi back up singer. He was AMAZING. Other then the few times Fred and Shaant almost fell off the stage because they were dancing around so much it was great. I also caught Tom's drumstick! It was great!

Next up was Plain White T's. They are really really good live. Although Tom, singer, was way to enthusiastic. Like he was making these really weird facial expressions and had like dance moves and such it was hilarious to watch. They put on a great set and their guitarist, Tim, was great, he made the set have more life with his dancing and being up there with Tom.

Then was Gym Class Heroes. I really do love them but I don't know many of their songs so it wasn't as fun for me. But they were amazing and now I have a new found love for Gym Class Heroes. Their bassist, Eric, did amazing even with two broken fingers on his right hand. That made me have so much respect for him! Travie, singer, was kind of a spaz and kept talking about sex and stuff which may of made parents mad... but that's Travie for you. When they sang Clothes Off, Patrick from Fall Out Boy came out and sang with them. That was really really great!

After all those other bands Fall Out Boy finally went on! They had the same set up as Honda Civic Tour which was kind of hilarious because they are so rich and all and could so afford a new set =P. Pete, bassist, had a broken leg and was still able to jump around like a lunatic and play amazingly. He really connected with the crowd which was great. Patrick, singer, was amazing. His voice has grown sooooo much over the years. I am so proud of him. Joe, guitarist, was a bit of a spaz on the stage. Jumping around and head banging like a maniac. But that's Joe Throman for you. Pete was throwing picks into the audience like it was his job. It was pretty funny. They did two acoustic songs which were great. And of course Saturday was the last song of the set and Pete went into the crow which was awesome.

October 13th 2007

On October 13th I went to one of my all time favorite concerts ever. The show was ok but the experience made it worth the drive to Connecticut and only seeing The Maine preform 4 songs. It was at the Space in Hamden Connecticut and I went to see this band called The Maine who are from Arizona. They are one of my all time favorite bands. They were opening for Bayside who were preforming acoustic. I was unaware that The Maine's set was going to be acoustic too, but it was. It was an AMAZING acoustic set though. John, the band's singer, was being weird and had a myspace URL twitch and before and after every song he would go "thanks we're the maine, if you like our stuff check as out at myspace.com/themaine" It was pretty hilarious actually. But the preformance was really good and they were as good live as they are on recordings. They really need to be signed ASAP. Since it was acoustic only Kennedy, guitarist, and John, singer, got to preform. So my friend Chelsea and I hung out with Pat, drummer, and Garrett, bassist, for their whole set. It really was a blast. Since the band isn't signed or anything they don't have that many fans over here yet so they were hanging out with us and about 7 other girls at their merch booth and out at their car. It was a blast and everybody who doesn't know who The Maine are should go check their music out. They're a great band, really attractive guys, and they are so nice.

explanation? i guess that's what i'll call this

Ok, so I have a LiveJournal for my friends to read or whatever. And I would always write long explanations about the concerts I went to and music I've listened to etc. on there. So my cousin was like "sara, your LJ is for your life not your concerts... but your entries about your concerts are amazing to read, you should get somewhere else to write about them." So that's what I'm doing. I made this here buzznet page or whatever to write about the concerts I go see and the music I'm listening to and the music I'm complaining about basically. lol. It should be interesting.

Even though my last concert was last weekend... october 13th I'm going to write an entry about that as soon as I'm done with this one.
